Between the ages of 0-7, we decide our core beliefs about the world based on our experiences. The most impactful experiences cause us to create beliefs that are then imprinted into our subconscious mind and we project them out onto the world and they are mirrored back to us (like a movie screen).
Speaking your truth when relating to others is one of the core principles of learning to relate in a conscious manner. It’s kind of funny because it seems so simple and obvious yet how many of us were taught to do this?
Do you ever find yourself seeking advice or guidance outside of yourself? I know I used to all the time. Especially on the topic of dating and relationships. Relationships bring up everything within us that is hiding – so there is a lot of material to work with here – for all of us!
We carry limiting beliefs, patterns, and programs imposed on us from our childhood as well as society and a lot of them sound something like this: “I am not enough”, “I will be alone”, “I am different”, “I don’t fit in”, “I have to be perfect”, “People always leave”, “Life is hard”, and so on.
