We all have baggage: Should we unpack it or keep carrying it around? 

Being a human on the planet means that we all have varying degrees of baggage that impact us and our relationships on a day to day basis. 

We have two choices: we can keep carrying our baggage around without looking inside and let it continue to impact our lives on an unconscious level OR we can unpack it and have a chance to be liberated from it. 

I personally will always choose to unpack it because I know that whether we are aware of it or not, it does impact us and if there are areas in our lives where we keep experiencing discord it is vitally important to uncover our part in the dynamic so that we can have a different experience. 

Often we won’t be fully willing to unpack it until the pain of change is less than the pain of staying the same, meaning the circumstances of our lives have become so painful that we have nowhere to go but up. 

Unpacking it is a journey that takes courage and willingness to become more aware of the patterns, programs and beliefs that are keeping you stuck and the support of an objective professional who is skilled at seeing these patterns and supporting you in your healing really enhances the process. You don’t have to do it alone! 

I am a coach and I will always have coaches and therapists because I know the value of having that support. I believe that healing is an on-going journey of expansion and transformation and we never get it all done. It is a journey of becoming that is actually really beautiful.
